How to use AndroFeme.

2. Application Site:

Apply the cream to clean, dry, and intact skin, preferably to areas with thin skin for better absorption.  The outer thigh is a popular site because of the lower hair follicle count therefore risk of hair growth at site is decreased

Application Instructions:

  1. Measure 0.5mls, the prescribed dose using the syringe provided.
  2. Gently rub the cream into the skin until fully absorbed.
  3. Avoid applying the cream to broken or irritated skin
  4. Wash your hands afterwards
  5. Avoid contact with children, other females due to risk of unintentional transfer
  6. Apply at the same time each day, this can either be in the morning or night.  Morning is generally preferred.

It is not safe to have testosterone therapy without monitoring

Monitoring and Follow-Up

Regular monitoring of testosterone levels is essential to ensure appropriate dosing and to avoid irreversible androgenising side effects (eg clitoris getting big, or the Adams apple growing)

Blood tests may be done after 3-6 weeks of use, and 3 monthly ongoing.

Blood tests must be done PRIOR to a blood test (a trough level)
