What to do when there are no patches?
In New Zealand, as of June 2024 estradiol patches are the only form of transdermal estrogen. This main use of this is in hormone replacement therapy. The availability of this medication is woeful. Here is a leaflet to explain what the risks and benefits of the others medications are, how to work with your pharmacist/GP to ensure you receive what you need and an affirmation that you have a right to access this medication.
